Randy S. Gold
President The Mucolipidosis Type IV Foundation
1440 Spring Street NW
Atlanta, Georgia, United States
Randy S. Gold is President of the Board at The Mucolipidosis Type IV Foundation. Randy’s daughter was diagnosed with Mucoplipidosis Type IV when she was just eighteen months old. This incident left Randy and his wife, Eden, confused, heartbroken, and scared. As a result, they got involved in the only organization, the ML4 Foundation, which had ever been established to fight for treatments and a cure for this disease.
Shortly after Randy joined the Board of Directors of the ML4 Foundation in 2011, he worked with the board to create and fund the position of Executive Director for the Foundation. With this new professional funded and hired, board members have worked tirelessly to increase the visibility of the Foundation so they can achieve the goals of treatments and, ultimately, to cure ML4 for Eden, and for the all the other children with this horrible disease.
